The solid wood anchovies and box are are turned, engraved, and hand painted by artisans in Ohio. Made from solid maple and topped with non-toxic finishes. And the felt pasta is 100% wool from felt manufacturers in Pennsylvania.

They interviewed dozens of manufacturers to find the right fit before teaming up with talented second-generation Amish toymakers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. They then spent months sourcing the best materials, from solid woods and sturdy hinges to the safest paints and finishes they could find. And when the final prototype was ready and approved, they went through rigorous testing by an independent third-party, CPSC-approved safety lab to make sure their products meet or exceed the highest federal safety standards.
